This adorable little dragon whelp was born in May 2010. He reminds me a bit of Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon! He enjoys playing with his other little dragon mates and getting into trouble. Baby dragons can be quite mischievous.

Beau is a needle felted soft sculpture. His body, horns and claws are sculpted of New Zealand Corriedale wool felted over a strong wire armature. His belly is merino wool. His tiny nostrils are sculpted with great detail. He is fully poseable and can be posed in many different ways.

The wings are fantasy film over wire and are sealed. They are slightly flexible and bendable. Fantasy film is very difficult to photograph as it changes color in the light.

Beau's eyes are gold coloured plastic doll eyes that have been carefully set. He is 3 inches tall (standing) and 2 3/4 inches long with his tail extended.

Beau is #11 in my Fantasy Felt line. He comes beautifully presented in a satin lined window box, ready for gift giving or to put on display. His tag is signed and has his name and birthday.

Beau is available for adoption at my Etsy Shop.
