Custom: Death Pony & Fae

I've been working on some custom orders this week and have completed two so far. First is Death Pony the Apocalypse Pony. This was taken from a sketch from Robot Chicken as mentioned in my previous posts.

Death Pony is needle felted over a wire armature with a washed wool core. The top layer is New Zealand Corriedale wool. The mane and tail are mulberry silk that has been hand rooted. Garnet Swarovski crystal eyes that blaze in the light give this figure an eerie look. Chain necklace and crystal detailing with "666" brand felted in white merino.

The mask is sculpted in paperclay and is removable. It has been painted in metallic silver acrylic paint and coated in satin varnish.

Fae is a baby dragon order where my amazing customer let me do my own thing. Fae is needle felted over a wire armature in mint New Zealand Corriedale wool. Her belly is lilac New Zealand Corriedale wool, and her tiny horns, claws and teeth are felted.

Her wings are fantasy film over wire and are sealed. Fae has gorgeous yellow glass eyes.

Matchbox Monsters!

Introducing my new line of dolls: Matchbox Monsters! This line will be of tiny horror dolls that live in their very own hand decorated matchbox.

Brainz is #1 in my Matchbox Monsters line and is a needle felted zombie. He stands just 1 7/8 inches tall.

Looks like Brainz just finished dinner! He is carrying a skull with long hair and a bead adornment. His arms and head are thread jointed.

Brainz is sculpted of a merino/silk blend and his pants were felted of merino wool. His hair is Tibetan lambswool locks. His eyes are glass seed beads and his mouth was hand stitched.

 Brainz's box is 2 1/8 inches long and 1 1/8 inches tall. It slides open like a matchbox. I have painted it with green and orange acrylic paints and decorated it with skulls in gel pen.

They are tiny and very portable, so you can take them with you anywhere and they will keep you company and bring you luck :)

Brainz has been sold, but custom orders are always available.

Chartreuse

Chartreuse is a gorgeous zombie girl dressed for a night on the town. Her body was dyed in green tones and is detailed with black stitching.

Her tattered black halter dress is detailed with mesh underskirts and a sheer wire ribbon waistband with a gold button detail. The ribbon is tied in the back in a voluminous bow. Extra details include a necklace that is made of glass beads and has a clasp so it is removable and glass seed bead bracelets.

18.5 inches tall.

Jamila

Jamila is a beautiful mummy, risen from her tomb. Posed in true mummy fashion, Jamila is as frightening as she is pretty.

Her body was constructed to allow her to stand on her own, arms outstretched. Her skin was dyed light gray and her super soft yarn hair is sewn in scarcely to give her the perfect mummy look.

She is wrapped entirely in a gauze like fabric that was cut into strips. Each strip was individually wrapped and then sewn into place.

18 inches tall.

Emmie

Emmie is an adorable gothic rag doll. From her ultra soft yarn pigtails down to the detailing of her outfit no details were spared. Note on the torso detail photo, the detailing of her black velvet top, the velvet ribbon sash and the super cute skull button tying in her skull head print skirt. Her legs are jointed at the knees with beautiful red diamond shaped beads so you can perch her on any shelf. Her ankh necklace is hand beaded and adds a gorgeous touch. 18 inches tall.
